-VI-BOOK FESTIVAL

For a city whose inhabitants are not usual readers, and therefore no buyers of books, Julio Pérez Ferrero Library Department has been developing a strategy to strengthen academic and educational activities, and the quality of the guests, that he offers in this "BOOK FESTIVAL VI, a high level event that the Cucuteños can not but feel very proud.

The structure of the daily program, developed by the event organizers, was raised in slots that allow greater clarity on the issues. The poetry workshops were from four in the afternoon, meetings with writers at four and a half, the five regional authors, conversations from six to seven cinema club and special presentations, closing with a touch after eight.


The official opening ceremony was attended by a large audience, and the presence of the authorities municipal and regional.

At the end of the ceremony, CARVAJAL JUAN FRANKLIN writer gave a brief presentation of his new book "femur and skulls in the CRONICARIUM LIBER (the incunabula), and what would be his presentation and discussion group, which was Included in the event program.

The inclusion of an urban space for local bands in programming, allowed the daily presence of a large number of youth who begin to feel the book festival as their own, and to which we attend to the various conversations and activities offered by the event.
The opening night features music for the left foot. Duo developing a hybrid musical humor, classic 70's rock-climber `s ballad with which easily and quickly connect with the audience, getting his complicity and his laughter.

Thereafter, they were six wonderful days full of front-line authors, who return to their places delighted to have come to our city, and as a result of good treatment and management by the organization, they become multipliers the good image that are facilitating their union in the future acceptance of invitations to each even better, new versions of THE BOOK FESTIVAL.
