How To Overcome Hypersomnia

half-LIQUID SKY-The best of the FIA.

The work LIQUID SKY, Venezuelan artist Juan Requena, by D'MUSEO Gallery, in the XIX Feria Iberoamericana de Arte, Caracas, was undoubtedly the best approach to appreciate in this event.
.

is an installation consisting of twelve screens, each with a metallic finish, top and bottom, like a ribbon, to increase the independence of each screen and generates an aspect of their aquarium.
. Each of these screens uses two or three "augers" acetate overlay, and each has a different travel speed, always from left to right.

In each of the acetates displayed various mysterious beings, whose appearance we recognize as the creatures that inhabit the dark and unfathomable depths. It speaks of those ecosystems unexplored, of which little is known, but we've seen in some TV documentaries, thanks to advances in underwater photographic technology. This installation questions us about the possibility of life in unexpected places and times in the universe.
.
The artist experiments with different photo-luminescent materials, fluorescent lighting systems and independent of the electric light.
.

In each of the screens does a mysterious atmosphere and clean, that you can see sea anemones, fish and loved that manifest hyper, allowing details of volume, structure, soundness and transparency, which produce three-dimensional effect in some. And this three-dimensional effect is achieved also at the total picture of each screen, due to the overlap of acrylic, which see some things move ahead or behind others.

quality in the configuration of each image, the visual effect achieved with the use of alternative materials, the atmosphere achieved in each of the screens, motion picture, finish, and all Formally, generate the captivating aura trapping que posee el conjunto que conforma esta instalación.
